As always, we have an action-packed day of fun in store for you as the Shelties from Clothie Shetland Pony Stud make a welcome return. The pint-sized competitors face five challenging races over the jumps.

If you fancy a flutter then look out for our tote sellers who will be on hand between races to help you to place your bets and back a winner. This event not only brings us together for an afternoon of fun, it also helps to raise money for two very worthwhile causes - Hatton Of Fintray Primary School and our Village Hall funds.

And it's not just the ponies that are vying against each other today; there is also a novelty race for our two-legged competitors while the shelties have a well-earned rest. This year's Novelty Race theme is still to be revealed.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to spend your winnings at our arts and crafts stalls and sideshows. Youngsters will also have plenty to keep them entertained with various activities.

If all that action has left you feeling peckish, try our mouth-watering barbecue, our home-made cream teas or our refreshments in the beer tent as you build up to the next nail-biting race.

As always, we'd like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to put today's programme together, particularly our sponsors and Mrs Brooker, her riders and ponies.

Have fun, and dig deep in those pockets!

Where is it and when?

Hatton of Fintray is ten minutes from Dyce by car or 15 minutes from Bucksburn via Blackburn .  The Sheltie Stakes is held in a field by the roadside on Kinaldie Farm.  Honestly, if you’re anywhere near the village you won’t miss it.  If by some fluke you miss the signs just wind down the window and listen..!  There is no public transport to the site.

CAR PARKING is on site and is more than ample.

The fun begins at 11:00 am and goes on until 4:00 pm.  Don’t be late, you’ll kick yourself if you miss anything!

What’ll it cost me?

It needn’t cost you a penny!  Entry and car parking are free of charge, programmes are optional (but recommended) at two pounds each, so you needn’t be out of pocket before you even start.  After that it’s entirely up to you how much you want to spend.  But do remember before you come that there is NOT a convenient hole-in-the-wall machine nearby!

FIRST RACE 11:30 more detailed information of races and times can be found in the Programme on the day.

All winnings should be collected at the end of each race.
For those unable to collect please leave your betting slip with your name and address on back with attendants in the "Beer Tent"

Be aware that this is an open air event, but in the very unlikely event of the skies daring to break there is plenty of shelter available in the various tents and stalls.

Thanks to…
