Welcome to the Fintray Walking Group page on the Fintray Community Association website.
 
On this page you will find details of upcoming walks and short reports, usually with pictures, of recent walks.
 
The group meet monthly and walks undertaken range from a sedate between Christmas and New Year ramble locally to walking some of the high Mountains (e.g. Lochnagar) and passes (e.g. Lairig Ghru) in the summer. In a year there is something for everyone with some only partaking in the easier winter/spring walks and some walking all year.
 
An annual programme is set out late each year and the 2011 list is shown below.

The next Fintray Walk will be an ascent of Hill of Fare from Raemoir House Hotel, nr Banchory.   Leave Fintray Hall at 10am and should return at about 4:30pm. The walk is around 13km and about 400m of climb and descent.
